Dr Hannah Gough (coming September)

Dr Hannah Gough grew up in the Noosa Hinterland town of Kin Kin and has since taken every opportunity to gain a wide range of experience in the medical field, whilst studying and working abroad. Even before completion of her medical degree in Berlin, Hannah realised that General Practice was her passion.

Through her training and work in Germany, Switzerland and Portugal, Hannah has had the opportunity to acquire knowledge in a wide range of healthcare settings, which included working as a doctor in several hospitals and General Practices in urban and rural areas over the past 8 years. She believes in empowering and educating her patients to lead a healthy life, both mentally and physically. Hannah takes a holistic approach to medicine and really enjoys the diversity of patients she can help working in General Practice. She is dedicated to providing the best medical care to patients of all ages. Hannah also strongly believes that patients should be involved as much as possible when it comes to managing any health problems. Hannah enjoys all aspects of General Practice and has a special interest in antenatal shared care, procedural work such as Implanon and Mirena/copper IUD insertion and removal, paediatrics and preventive medicine.

Hannah is really looking forward to returning to the Noosa Hinterland to provide the community with genuine, patient-centred care.

Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two children, with climbing being a passion shared by all members of the family.

Hannah speaks fluent German and Portuguese.
