Hannah is excited to be joining the team at Maple Street Surgery and being a part of the hinterland community.
Hannah is working 4 days a week.
After graduating from the University of Western Ontario in 2008, Hannah escaped the long cold winter of her native Canada and ventured to Australia on a working holiday which has never ended. She went on to complete her Medical degree from The University of Queensland in 2013 and has been happy to call the Sunshine Coast her home ever since.
She has a passion for primary care with interests include paediatrics, women’s health, mental health and is intrigued by all facets of general medicine.
She has enthusiasm for maintaining an active, balanced lifestyle and encourages adaptation of preventative health measures with patients of all ages. Her goal is to help all patients achieve their healthiest and happiest life.

Dr Phillips is a UK-trained GP who moved to the sunshine coast 2 years ago. He enjoys all aspects of family medicine with a particular interest in the care of the elderly, chronic disease, medical education and all aspects of mental health. He aims to give patients the best possible understanding of their health conditions and involve patients as much as possible in decisions made about their treatment. Outside of medicine he enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids and exploring the beaches and hinterland of the sunshine coast.
Dr Phillips works 5 days a week and wants to retire at Maple Street Surgery. That’s a commitment to long term patient care!

Bushra in new to Maple Street Surgery and enjoys living on the Sunshine Coast. She has worked in rural hospitals within Queensland and the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital and has a special interest in;
Antenatal care, Children’s Health. Women’s Heath, Chronic disease management. Minor procedures, Preventative medicine.

Dr Lynn enjoys every aspect of the general practice. Having a special interest in women’s health, managing chronic medical conditions and children’s health.
Dr Lynn strives to deliver a high quality and safe professional standard of care to the local community.

Dr Barnes is a highly regarded and very experienced doctor that has worked with Maple Street Surgery on numerous occasions. As well as her rural diploma in Obsetrics and Gynaecology, Gaie has 25 years experience as a rural GP in Victoria and 8 years as locum GP in the Noosa area.
Born and raised in the Cooran district with a passion to provide a high qualityand safe professional standard of care to the local community.
Dr. Byrne enjoys all aspects of General Practice with Special Interests in Womens Health, Paediatrics and Skin Cancer.

Dr Richard Simpson has left Noosa Clinic some time ago and is now enjoying working 4 days a week at Maple Street Surgery in Cooroy.
Dr Simpson has a wealth of experience in all aspects of general practice with a special interest in men’s health and chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and heart disease. He particularly enjoys seeing children and young families.
Dr Simpson intends to work 4 days a week and is looking forward to being part of Maple St and practicing quality family medicine in a friendly, family orientated clinic for many years to come.

Dr David Kirkman has over thirty four years experience in all aspects of general practice.
He has an interest in Aged Care, rehabilitation, paediatrics (including neo – natal circumcisions), women’s health issues including cosmetic treatments and screening for skin cancers.
Dr Kirkman will bulk bill all concession card holders and children 16 years and under.
Dr Leon Venter has worked throughout Australia in general practice and rural hospitals whose main interest lies in male health.
Dr Rosie has had many years of experience as a General Practitioner, most of those having been spent in Mackay Central Queensland. She moved to Noosa in 2008 and we are fortunate to someone of her experience help us out during a busy period covering holidays and maternity leave. She has an interest in all aspects of General Practice but a special interest in treatment of menopause and peri menopausal symptoms. Complimentary Medicine, including Acupuncture and Meditation are of particular interest to Rosie and she is a practitioner of Transcendental Meditation. Recently Rosie became an independent consultant for Rodan + Fields, a skin care range developed by two Stanford-trained dermatologists, Dr K Rodan and Dr K Fields. She is happy to talk to her patients and friends about these products and skin in general. Rosie has a love of music, singing, gardening and travel – indeed almost any kind of new adventure! She has recently taken up karate! She often says ‘ she loves having a project’ and her life motto is the ‘best is yet to come!’
Lilly has a background in Chronic Disease Management and will be working closely with our General Practitioners, scheduling patient appointments and performing health assessments, diabetes reviews and asthma action plans.
Lilly is also the practice’s Coordinated Veterans Care Coordinator and has a passion for looking after our Senior Citizens and Australian Indigenous and Torres Strait Islanders within our community. She is well known for establishing therapeutic relationships with her patients by going the ‘extra mile’.
