Dr Martoo obtained his medical degree from the University of Sydney having grown up in the Gympie/Noosa area and is excited to return to the Sunshine Coast with his family to practice as a GP.

Nelson is passionate about general practice and is looking forward to providing quality healthcare to the Hinterland community. He sees patients through all stages of life and all manner of conditions, though has a particular focus on men’s health, mental health, paediatrics, geriatrics, and internal medicine. 

When not in the clinic, he can be found frolicking with his sons on some adventure, playing music poorly, getting run around on a touch football field, or out in the water. Nelson is very much looking forward to being an active, long term contributor to the Cooroy and Hinterland community.

He hopes to be working 4 days per week, daycare permitting!
